About Us

Since 1948 Snyder Jewelers has been serving the Longmont Community. Three generations of family ownership has made it one of the leading jewelry stores in Northern Colorado. We are known and respected for our honesty, integrity, expertise, high quality workmanship, and our high standards of excellence.

We offer the same quality, value, and service to our new friends on the internet as we have offered to our friends and neighbors for so many years. Our expert staff includes a Master Jeweler, Gemologists, a Nationally Certified Appraiser, and a Watch Repairman, each with more than 30 years of experience. Our Sales Associates are educated, experienced and committed professionals. Everyone on the Snyder team is dedicated to the high standards originally established by Hobart and John Snyder in 1948.

Offering unsurpassed customer service, unique and beautiful custom designs, competitive pricing, and an extensive selection, is our pleasure and our foundation.

Our Promise

At Snyder Jewelers, we want our customers to feel secure. Our customers deserve peace of mind and to feel confident that the purchase they made was the best possible value and quality in the marketplace. We believe people should make informed decisions. Our staff gladly educates our customers about the quality and individual characteristics of the item they are considering. We will not rush you through the purchase, but will explain what determines quality and value. You will be shown a range of prices, sizes, colors, and qualities so you can see the differences and make the comparisons. Well-informed customers understand that information is the key to good value. We are here for you, and pride ourselves on providing the type of service that brings people back to us time and again. You can always turn to Snyder Jewelers for assistance with selecting a gift for any occasion.

Snyder Jewelers believes in truth in pricing!

Today the public is bombarded by all kinds of outlets, and well known retailers and chain stores offering jewelry and related items at so called discounts. These discounts are so exaggerated that we hope you will question whether they are true discounts. Was the original referenced price purposely inflated and then lowered to lure you into thinking you are saving money? Was the merchandise ever sold at the regular price, and for how long? There is nothing wrong with legitimate discounts but, deceptive pricing offers you no bargains!

Summing up

We encourage you to shop and compare prices. However, arm yourself with knowledge so that you are comparing "apples to apples." Items may look similar, however there are differences in carat weight, color, clarity, cut, origin, metal content, and quality. These differences may be subtle but affect the beauty, durability and value substantially.
